ZooK

Daren't go to the dentist, for fear of being.

So I didn't go to Memento or Amores Perros. I went over to Hollywood Video, by far the best Chain video store in this great state, and picked up the DVD version of Tigerland, which I rented on Monday with Ryan but didn't get to watch. Instead we watched Billy Elliot, which is a good movie but has some parts that are just too.....too too. It's a bit much, to coin a phrase. Tigerland, however, is a great fucking movie. I recommend it heartily. Yes, its about VietNam, but it all takes place in New Orleans at Tigerland, which was the only area of the United States that even remotely resembled the conditions of VietNam. There isn't a lot of preaching, there are a few cliches but no overpoweringly cheesy ones, and the acting is top notch. The main guy, Dozz, is played by Colin Farrel, who is in real life an Irishman, but plays a Texan as well as GWBush. This guy is good. This movie is good. Can I revamp my BLARGars?

Richard Hidalgo just hit a home run off Kyle Farnsworth. 4-2 Astros, with Billy Wagner in the pen.

Congratulations go out to Jen who got into Grad School. Good Luck, don't let the bed bugs bite.

The next five songs on yer radio in a perfect world would be: "Dead End Friend" by Bivouac; "The Ghost at number one" by jellyfish; "first day back" by bra!d; "the dismemberment plan gets rich" and "southern man" by neil young.

In the stereo: WGN-720 with nothin' but bad news.
