trip mcnealy

good luck mjarc.

lately, every time i walk, i'm scared of tripping over those pint-sized chain rope deals they have around that hang really close to the ground. it's the chain link rail type of thing connected between metal poles or sometimes concrete blocks. supposed to keep people or even cars out of somewhere, or off the grass. i think. designates "out of bounds" for the common man i guess. for me, they only pose yet another trigger for an uneccessary phobia of hurting myself. i could easily trip and fall right on my nose.

here's the real problem: it is these types of man-made items that exhibit an obvious prejudice against semi-tall people.

i don't ever look down at the ground while walking because it's so damn far. besides, who looks straight down at their feet while they walk? i guess i will now, so i don't trip over those stupid chain link baracades that double as scooter booby traps. that's me delicately walking down the street with my chin glued to my chest.

it's bad enough with beds and cars and doorways and pants and airplanes and your butt and now this.

dumb short world.
