How was the show? Sorry i couldn't be there to yell out "gaucho" or "peg" or "riki don't lose that number".
Somebody posted something about alicia keys here recently, about how that new song of hers is good. Why I hate alicia keys:
1. She sings the hook to that annoying "fallin'" song right at the beginning of her new video. Like, "hey!, remember me? I sang that other song you liked, and my record label realizes that my album is subpar and that this song is not nearly as catchy/annoying as the first one so let me remind you real quick"
2. She publicizes her "ghetto" past. Read her bio, find out that ghetto now means lower-middle class upbringing. So that means I'm ghetto, Mjarc is ghetto, and most of you, fine readers, are ghetto. Enjoy that.
3. Her entire career is based on the fact that she is "reinventing soul". Ummm. I'm not sure, but, and this is just a guess, but...didn't Lauryn Hill do that a couple of years ago?
Me, I'll take Res. She has:
1. lyrical ability
2. a great voice that doesn't need to be overused ala mariah carey/christina aguilera/alicia keys
3. talent (that's important, i suppose)
4. grace
5. hype that lives up to the meaning of the word.
Read The Asian Book Of Wisdom. Find out what song to play on a flute when trying to woo a perspective mate. My choice: "hit me with yr. best shot" by pat benatar. (isn't that who sings that?)
Today we end this BLARG by repeating possibly the funniest cos it's true thing ever written on this site, of course by none other than Mast "shut the fuck up you douche" fatt:
