Less hot today, even though all the weather reports say it was the hottest day in recent years. A nice breeze coupled with working out of the sun makes fucking hot way less hot.

So I'm guessing that the Jimmy Eat World/Hey mercedes show tickets will go on sale this weekend but thanks to the lovely folks over at Holiday Matinee I will not be contributing to TicketBastard's "convienience charge" and "Handling charge" and "Screwgie charge". As Seinfeld Say: "Everybody is ripping me off!". Since Reuben's Accomplise are opening, and are a Holiday Matinee band, I'm in the clear. No waiting in line, no worries about sell outs, and unlike the Vagrant fiasco, these guys always come through in the clutch.

So in other Jimmy news, they have this little feature in Spin this month. They're wearing tuxedos, and the writer gushes about them. Hmmmm. And that Rolling Stone review could've been written by any dimestore hack. I did however find out that Chocolate Genius is releasing a new record, which is great news.

I am not embarassed to admit that I purchased an A&E Biography Anthology CD today. Usually A&E peddles shite rubbish, but I scored the Ricky Nelson edition. I remember listening to him at my Grandpa's house when I was younger, probably in
Rio Bravo with Dean Martin. So fucking good. Not a guilty pleasure cuz I don't feel guilty.
