The less I say about the show on Friday, the fewer number of people that I'll offend. I will point out that I did get a bit angry for a reason, and that not letting someone speak when they have something important to say equals tyranny in my book. I have to live in my apartment building full-time. Just because others don't doesn't give them the right to speak on my behalf and upset my neighbors. Duff said.
I will also say that Saturday was mad-capped, topped with fun and bunnies - in a ditch, with my friend Johnny's car. 200 yards away from the previous bar, about ten miles away from the desired destination. We've said it before, and we'll say it again ... The Panaphobic Superhero does not condone drinking and driving, or in his case, drinking and horseplay and driving. But don't worry, everyone is fine.
I wish I could tell you, with all my faculties about me, that the Mt. St. Helens rocked the house - which they did. But I don't remember most of it. I do know that they didn't play "Redwing" or "Model Memorial" which was a definite disappointment. But, hey, what was I expecting? Those songs are going on four years old now, and nobody else problem knows them. Is it too much to ask to play them every once in a while, with Matt Fast on backup vocals? I don't think so.
All kidding aside. They rocked.
