ZooK

The DJ never has it, JAMC "automatic".

Only Jimmy could fit a lyric about a Jesus and Mary Chain Album. And the date is not on sale this weekend, but a list is now available for perusement in a clean, well lit place. As well as a Wednesday night show at the High Dive, which is perfect since I don't have class until 330 on TuesdayandThursdays, and can finally get my fill of the $1.50 PBR's and the great sound system/view. Speaking of view, I read something today that there are some serious groupies following the Alkaline Trio around the States. They used to have punk girls wearing buttons just in case they ever ran into one of the guys on the street, now they have beauty pagent rejects flashing their bubbies and promising fast times with no ties. Ah, the life of a top 200 Billboard Rocker.

So it rained harder today than it has since the flood of 1996, during which my basement was flooded with sewer water that came in through the toilet. Yes, it was nasty. Plenty of Anit-Bacterial spray and a complete overhaul by my pops results in a brand new basement. Cars are flooded on the expressways, which were shut down for a bit. We were working In Yorkville, and it only rained for about 20 minutes but hard. I managed NOT to get electrocuted, but the day ain't over yet.

And Marcie, I will be in Bloomington, hopefully moving some stuff in and seeing my girl. And I hate to mix words with such a prescious emotional man as yerself, but solitude implies you see and hear no one. Jack Kerouac spent a few months on the top of a mountain in California firewatching. No one but himself and himself and some undomesticated animals. He wrote a book about it called Desolation Angels, which was actually the first book of his I read cuz I was starting to read books about the Buddha***1*** and desolation is such a great word, a beautiful word. That is solitude. Yer situation is more like loneliness, which sucks too and I honestly hope you get home soon so you can be all lovey-dovey with yer roomates again. Just to clear that up.

Clean is still more important than neat. Hope is still more important than Contentedness. Milli Vanilla is still more important than Destiny's Child. Ryan is still more important than any other girl in the world.

Next five: "regret" by new order; "sharp shooters" by dead prez feat. twalib kweli; "hip-hop" by mos def; "I've never been to Boston, let alone Brazil" by lois lane; and "born to run" by the boss.
