The Return of the Mack.
Okay. I think it's been long enough, don't you? I mean ... seriously. Me? Not posting? For, like, forever? What gives, you ask?
Lots has happened. Lots of experiences that should be talked about, some that maybe shouldn't ever see the light of day again, and blah's blah's blah's. The New Orleans fiasco was fun for the first two and a half days. Little did we know that we'd run into a cop on a power trip our last night there, and that two of us would end up in jail while the other two would be scrambling around trying to figure out how to get them out. No names, please. I feel bad enough just putting this down, but I periodically go through this to see where I was at a certain point, and I know I'm not going to want to forget that experience. I hated dentists two weeks ago. But now I hate law enforcement officers and the judicial system. As a consequence of this dick's raging hard-on for arresting innocent people we were forced to spend almost thirty-some extra hours in "The Big Easy". Bullshit. We played it safe by buying a Monopoly game our "last" night there and laying low in a hotel room until the last of our two court dates came up.
Once again, fucking bullshit. Especially considering the fact that none of us did a single thing to warrant being arrested. It still blows my mind.
But, on the lighter side, I had a great time just spending so much time with my closest friends, and in the car together, and kicking ass at Trivial Tooth Pursuit Light (which is a made-up game that allows us to play TP on the road).
School started today. I've still got about a billion albums downloaded that need listening to, and I have no immediate plans to do so. My books will be expensive. My pocketbook will be empty this year much sooner than it was last year. Woe is me, king of the penniless slackers.
On the horizon: visiting Zach's "office". I'll see you cats tomorrow.
