Zach OooohN
Every scratch, every click, every heartbeat/Every breath that I bless/I'd be lost, I confess.
First day of school. I am officially a College Teacher. 18 students. 1:00 Monday-Friday. Right now, I'm in my office. My own office. Well, mine and three others, but mine nonetheless. I am officially in charge of 18 kids' college experience. Yikes. One girl went to the high school I student taught at, one knew my dad's friend's son who went to her high school, and two were from Geneva (my obvious question: Do you remember the Fast Brothers, was answered with a quizzed look. Shoulda asked if they knew the Sprague Brothers, cos at least one is their era). I, as usual, probably looked like a douchebag, but they'll at least half-respect me by the end of the semester.
Right now, I'm listening to Tristeza in my office. My office. My office.
Right now, I can't believe Mjarcie hasn't posted a long thing about his New Orleans experience, especially that part...well, I'll let him tell you.
Right now, thousands of kids are sitting in their first college class wondering when all that cool shit happens.
next five: "45" by elvis costello; "i am a cheetah" by tristeza; "LAX" by hot snakes; "Six Year Plan" by the lois lane; and "my baby smokes" by bra!d.
in the stereo: Tristeza
