Brian: Go out, even if its just once, and even if you don't like partying or parties or the people at the parties. You always know that if it blows, or if its an excruciating experience, you can head right back to wherever you were a few minutes beforehand. No blood, no foul, right? I don't say this because I go to parties/bars more than twice a week, more so because I used to not go out years ago, and found myself bored as well. Going out was strange at first, and to be honest, a lot of the parties last year were boring, but you forget all that down the road and remember some of the crazy things you saw and did, and it ends up turning out for the best. But then again, this is all just advice from someone stuck in Illinois. For all I know, it could be a completely different scene out there in LA.
Alright. Moving on.
Once again, plans are proceeding slowly towards putting a new band together. I have a drummer, which is so key its kind of sick, and I might have a possible singer or two, and they're both female! Which is great, if you ask me. I've been working bit by bit on the fourtrack and was able to completely finish my first full song with drums, two acoustic tracks, and a whole slew of keyboard tracks (clarinets, soft background sounds, and bass). I think it sounds great, but I think my opinion may be a little one-sided.
Cheers.
