Mjarc

The first few days of classes always leave me with too much time on my hands. Thank candy corn for messy rooms that need cleaning and retooling. I added another 15 books to the library today, which are mostly childrens books for my Childrens Lit. class. Its kind of refreshing to go from Alias Grace to Where the Wild Things Are. I love me some picturebooks. I'm just afraid that I won't have the cognitive capacities to get back to where I am now.

Then again, maybe not. I'm reading both Sedaris and David Foster Wallace for my Advanced Exposition. And my Social Foundations in Education professor even threw in Jonathan Kozol's Savage Inequalities to spice up her old routine. Paint me silly and call me excited. I read most of this book about four years ago after repeated listenings to the Broadways' "Jonathan Kozol Was Right". Hopefully punk rock will help me get an A.
