Though we didn't do much, tonight felt productive. I produced two what should soon become Matt Fast Classics. The first was an electric version of an original called "Away". Very classy. I believe Matt calls it the "Led Zeppelin song that they never wrote". Up next was a complete spontaneous cover of the Alkaline Trio's "Radio" which is sure to please in any market. Any attempts to try and describe it would surely fall short of its genius. I'm just glad to be a part of it. I'll just try and see how we can get an MP3 up. Anyone got any server space that we can borrow? Just curious.
During the recording we worked on a season of NFL Blitz, which saw us all the way from Week 1 to the Super Bowl. With a record of 14-2, and a spotless playoff record, we only had to try the Superbowl twice before taking home the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Its curious to me that a group of semi-adult young men can stand up and scream and holler because they won a fictional football game. I was one of the screamers, and I don't feel bad about it all. Hmm.
Lastly, I hustled Matt and our other roommate Jeff in a game of Euchre, all the while enjoying the last of my latest 90 Schillings batch. If you live in Colorado and don't drink this shit, you're a bastard.
We're going after Iraq next. Let's hear it for sustained campaigns against ghosts. Can't get a fucking-nuff of those now, can we? This war will never end.
