I've forgone the late night blarging sessions these last few nights. I hope that didn't affect the beginning of your day, and to be honest, it always felt kind of like a sham anyways. Even though its technically the next day, its still that night and I wasn't giving people like Scott and Zach a chance to get an early BLARG in.
It's the middle of January, and I'm sweating. I didn't even wear a coat to the last class. Why? What's going on? I've only seen snow once this year, so far, and I want to see it again, and again, and again. I've only been able to make one snowball! What the fuck? Dear Weather, please take a turn for the worst. This is all beginning to creep me out a bit.
I took last night's writing session and channeled it into the beginning of my writing project for the semester. Its going to be a creative non-fiction piece about the two weeks that I spent traveling alone at the end of July. So far I've got just under 2300 words, and I somehow managed to crank it all out in about fourty five minutes. I never concentrate that hard on something in such a short period of time. There are tons of corrections and clarifications to be made, and I need to figure out how I'm going to segway (sp?) to the next scene, but I think I'm pretty proud of what I've come up with so far. Any proofreaders and corrections officers would be appreciated down the road. I want to make it a shining example of what I can put my mind to once I'm all done with it. But, for now, I think I'm still going to keep brainstorming and freewriting. Its not due until May, you know?
