Bettie Servert are the only opening act I've ever seen play an encore. They opened for Son Volt at the Vic in Chicago, and the crowd was absolutely transfixed. Granted, they sounded great and had great songs, but they were opening for Mr.Mope himself, Jay Farrar. Beta Band wrote one good song, won't ever write another, but I won't sell the CD.
