Marc
I work for the post office.
My friend John took that picture. He got pulled over in San Anselmo for making an illegal right turn. I was sitting in the passenger seat. I said, before he got pulled over, "I don't see why you wouldn't make this right turn." The cop clocked him at 5 mph. Nevertheless, he got a citation.
This is a copy of the citation I got yesterday morning at 7am in the middle of nowhere Kansas. It's right there on the map. That's where I got nabbed. 76 in a 65. I think the cop thought I was running drugs. He kept asking me why I was in Kansas.
"Cause I work for the post office."
(referring to the boxes in my back seat) "So they make you deliver your own packages from Chicago?"
(pause so the cop doesn't catch on) "No." (think to self, What kind of moron thinks that the post office hires people to drive four-door sedans from Chicago to Kansas to deliver packages?)
"Uh-huh. I see."
If anyone's interested, I'll be taking donations for my pending legal fees. Beer counts.
