One. I have a backpack full of eleven books. A bunch on the Equal Rights Amendment for women, a bunch on Phyllis Schlafly (the lady who brought the ERA down), and one Paradise Lost. I'm writing from the computer lab at 1:30pm on a Tuesday, if that tells you anything. My life is full of research these days. I've got roughly 100 pages to write that need research done first. Plus the other stuff. I'm bored and tired.
Two. I have not played the Lost Vikings for three days now, and I'm beginning to get a bit ancy. I think I made it to the second-to-last level. The bossman, Tomator, kept making fun of me cause I kept making it to what I thought was the exit for that level, but really it wasn't. It was a fake exit. Damn that Tomator.
Three. My internet at my apartment may very well be shut off (again) as I type. That, and I still may very well get evicted on Friday. But, on the upside, I may be getting a new computer chair for my room. And, on the up-upside, I rearranged my room last night and even put up (gasp!) an American flag. It's covering the door to the air-conditioning unit. It looks like a second closet door, but I know it's not, and from time to time I get worried that someone -- a mechanic or maintenance guy of some sort? -- will pop out and catch me in the act of changing clothes, or something akin to changing clothes (read: dancing around playing my tennis racket like it's a guitar).
Four. So. That's it. I've got to go talk to my workgroup about what we're going to do for our Paradise Lost presentation next week. I'll say this -- Books VII and VIII, which we were assigned to read, both have the Archangel Raphael in them. One of the two girls in my group has a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Raphael costume. I've got acting skills like you wouldn't believe. The Archangel/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle RAPHAEL! played by me. Awes.
