Marc

I've begun the arduous task of redoing my entire mp3 collection. I had nearly 1000 before. Now I'm down to 23 since the reformatting. Boo, but "yeah!" kind of. I don't know. I'm a big fan of that whole phoenix idea lately. Burn it all. Start over again. Do it right the second time through. I've downloaded the four available City On Film songs, Mary Lou Lord's "I Figured You Out", Sean Na Na's "Princess and the Pony", the entire Strike Anywhere album, and currently being processed is the newest Piebald effort. I just dropped a whole bunch of names, didn't I? Damn. What a schmuck.

I'm trying to stick to albums mostly. Sean Na Na and Mary Lou Lord are exceptions because I don't necessarily dig everything that they do, but those two songs (respectively) are fucking fantastic. Like in my Top 10 lists I like them so much, but Mary Lou Lord doesn't write her own songs, which I think blows, and Sean Na Na can't write that song again no matter how hard he tries. It's a perfect pop gem.

From now on, I download albums. I can't buy, so I'll steal. I'm cool with that. I used to not be, but I am now. Fuck it. I'm down.

ps -- this Strike Anywhere album's fucking intense
