Today was the big day -- Fix The Computer Day. I took the drive home to Kankakee, popped into the living room, set up the laptop with the other various computers (Matrix style), and went to work with the Dad to find and correct the problem. Seeing as how I'm one lazy son of a bitch, and I hadn't updated my anti-virus software in months, the Dad went through his computer and did the deed, and what would you know, there were over three thousand infected files running on me old laptop. Three thousand, huh? Them's is a tons of files to be bad, ain't dey?
Dey is.
So we burnt it all in a phoenix like fire, and out of the ashes arose my new computer, which looks a hell of a lot like my old computer, but different. So, I've been running virus scans pretty much ever since, and I keep finding infected files and deleting them. Hopefully it's solving the problem instead of prolonging it. Either way, I'll be pissed if I have to redo this thing again. Really pissed.
This weekend actually turned out to be quite a nice one, plus I found a new favorite root beer, called Stewarts Root Beer, which is a fantastic root beer, a root beer which you should all try if you can find it, cause it's root beer at it's root beeriest. Can I get a "Root"?
Root!
Can I get a "Beer"?
Beer!
What does it spell?
Root! Beer!
