I'm becoming more and more anti-social as more and more of my friends take off for the holiday break. Am I the only one who doesn't necessarily enjoy going home? I don't even have a bedroom at home? Why spend a month on a mattress in the floor of the toy room when I can stay in my own apartment, surrounded by my own stuff? Bollocks to you, leavers.
How anti-social have myself and the two 'mates (minus Matt) gotten? We took Saturday night off to start a new game of Final Fantasy VIII on our Playstation I. We didn't get discouraged when the game kept freezing up after the original cinematic introduction, we just turned it off and started over and over again until it worked (3 times to be exact). We ate Cheez-its and learned about junctioning GF magic users, and what the Garden School is about w/r/t magic users and SeeD's, and so on, and so forth. Geeky? Yes. Dorky? Uh-huh. Worth it? Maybe not, but at least it'll give us something to do for the next week. That is, after the Bears game tomorrow.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I don't have much to do, and anything that can distract me from my own thoughts is worthwhile in my book. You have no idea how easy I let me talk me out of doing a lot of things. Go with it.
