for some reason i was reading this terrible music zine and came across an interview with this awful band puddle of mudd. have you heard (of) these guys yet?? first things first: they were pretty much assembled, boy band style, by none other than fred durst. ugh. but the kicker is the interview i read. and i swear i'm not making this up. i'll put it in Q and A form for you slapsters.

fred durst gets demos all the time; what do you think he responded to about puddle's music?

one dude in the band- we sound like darkness with fun and happiness, the way a lot of people feel.
another dude- our music is like an eclectic montage skewed by society, burdened within its own pain.
