Marc

quote: n/a

One. I've been laying in bed since about 11:30 tonight, thinking about what I'm going to say on my very first teaching experience tomorrow morning. I will be placed in a room with about twenty five high school freshmen and forced to teach them about love in Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. My lesson plans are solid. My will to teach is strong. Will I survive? Tune in later today to find out.

Two. Male Roommate One and Male Roommate Two just walked in the door from the bar and are being loud. I knew this was going to happen. I knew I'd be restless about teaching tomorrow, and I knew I wouldn't be able to sleep, and I knew that they'd come home all drunk and make noise. Get used to it. This is my life.

Three. My sincerest apologies for not having written in the last few days. I've been busy, in a manner of speaking. Schoolwork is kicking my ass right now, and I'm hard pressed to keep up. I've also been going through a quarter life crisis, as it were, about my financial situation, which is, to say the least, not good. Credit cards are the devil, and the devil is keeping me down.

Four. So. That's it. I'm going to go tell my roommates to be quiet whilst I try to drift off to sleep again. You'd be amazed at how awesome my introduction speech for class tomorrow sounds in my head. I would put money on it not sounding so awesome in class. Oh well. We'll see.

Up Next: Yanqui U.X.O. by Godspeed! You Black Emperor; Life and Death of an American Four Tracker by John Vanderslice; and The Execution of All Things by Rilo Kiley ... I am so behind the times.
Tomorrow: A dinner date with Zach. Noog.
