On the newest Sesame Street Muppet: In South Africa there will be a new Sesame Street Muppet. Only this one has AIDS. Awesome. Absolutely awesome. The sheer logistics of this are mind blowing. How did it get AIDS? Was it a drug user? Did it have unprotected sex? Is it straight/gay? Is it a hemopheliac? If it is a hemopheliac, did it know Ryan White? Did it get AIDS through a blood transfusion? Was it shooting up in an alley after hitting the strip joint late one night? Did it ever shoot up with Kurt Cobain? Does this Muppet rock out? Has this Muppet ever been in a threesome? Does this Muppet have illegitimate children? Do they have AIDS? Has it called it former sexual/needle-sharing partners and informed them that they may have AIDS?
I wish I could go on longer. Oh. A Muppet with AIDS? Yes. Hell yes.
