Then again ... maybe I will drink. Who cares? Who can tell me 'no'?
Today ended up being pretty dopetastic. Got up and out of the room by one, headed off to everyone's favorite early afternoon watering hole, Zorba's, and chowed down. Immediately upon returning home the tribe gathered and headed out to this weird little man-made lake north of town. Count it, this is the second time in the past three days that I've gone swimming in sunlight. And I have yet to burn. I know. I can't believe it either.
This was the type of lake that was kind of gross on the bottom. Scooter was telling stories about goose poop or something last weekend, and I kept thinking about that as my legs touched the slimy underbelly of the deep blue lagoon. Ick. It didn't help that a mud/poop slinging fight broke out during the course of our stay, and my trunks were subsequently filled with rocks by the time I returned home. Tomorrow I commence "Operation Take Back the Bathroom". It should be a long, arduous ordeal. Stay tuned for further details.
Unemployed life, quite to the contrary, is so sweet so far.
