Mr. Show: I've spent most of my weekend watching the new DVD with seasons one and two on it. I never had HBO at home, so I don't think I got into it until late season two, but I'll be damned if this isn't some of the funniest shit I've seen in a long, long time. I missed this show a lot, and I'm glad to see it again. Totally worth the money. I can't wait until next weekend when I can watch them all with the commentary. Hooray for nerds!

The Mt. St. Helens "You Are A Ghostly Presence": Matt left me a preview of their newest effort, and I have to say that I am amazed that I know people that are this talented. I've gotten through it once tonight before we all went out, and I am completely floored. None of the shows I've seen them play have prepared me for this assault on the ears. I'm going to have to digest it a bit more, but I don't think I'll find anything but more good comments and features. Quinn/Jason/guys, if you are reading this by chance, congratulations. I am in awe of you, but I think you already knew that.

I've got to get up ass early tomorrow to take off for Oregon. Not too excited about the whole affair, to be completely honest. All I can think about is donuts and how I probably won't get up early enough to stop somewhere and pick some up before I have to leave. Kill me, please, folks. Kill me now. It's the only solution left.
