ZooK
I guess that all this history is just a mystery to me, one more worried whisper right in my ear.
So after a few days off (meaning from this BLARG) spent relaxing with the Ryan and moving in and then moving the Roomie in whilst the neighbors did some bidness and I do or do not mean of the narcotic variety (fer you NARC's out there, they live somewhere on my street, good luck) and watching two high school kids who had given themselves names and personalities for the night rail on every passerby in front of Marcie's very own ghetto-palace, and listening to Chris G. of the
first grade crush implosion tell a fabulously funny and sad story about meeting the drummer of Godsmack backstage at their show at the Metro, and then trying to get him to "sponsor" their band whilst he tried to explain the massive effects that heroin was having on him at the time. Dudes in bands are dudes in bands, but dudes in bands that get radioplay are dudes in bands that are fucking weird.
So I moved in my massive CD stash, and I needed to find a way to catalog them in case some really desperate folks decide they need to steal my Modest Mouse imports or the Frente! CD I guiltily store beind the racks then I'll have a record. So, in the land of Obsessive Compulsive Neurotic Projects that is known as BLARGer, here's another, being my record collection, in its gluttoness, despicable largeness (and I mean that in a loving and kind manner, yet not wholly in a pretentious one):
1. The actual tigers-Gravelled and Green
2. Ryan Adams- Heartbreaker
Number 2 is one of my favorites from last year, number one is one of those records you buy on recommendation and never really get. One need only listen to tracks 2 and 15 to recognize that Ryan Adams is the future of songwriting. His new one comes out 9.25, so prepare.
No next five, cos I'm running late and have no computer at home.
In the stereo: Wilco "Being there"
