Should I teach Lord of the Flies? I haven't read it since 8th grade. Thoughts, gentlemen?

Totally, dude. I think it's a good book to use for really getting kids into the idea of symbolism. It's so easy to make connections and inferences with that book. My kids are reluctantly realizing that they like it because it makes them feel smart.

I've also got some stuff you can use while you teach it if you need. it.
