Pontiac IL.
I will turn 26 in Pontiac IL. It has a minimum security prison just across the Superway. It has a Family Video. The guards from the minimum security prison rent lots of porn at the Family Video after the mid-day shift. I am staying in the Holiday Inn Express between the two. I just wrote a song in the bathroom. There wasn't enough room in the car for all my recording gear. So I've had to jot down the chord progressions and partial lyrics on a legal pad. It is sitting on the bed. The government is paying for all of this.
I don't want to work my job anymore. I finally, finally, finally have an official cut off time at the end of July, and my heart is completely/utterly not capable of dealing with my job anymore. Especially considering the following information: the who's its behind the big projects I work on are now funding us to go back and re-do most of the places that we've already done. Tomorrow I have to do a site in Pontiac that I did in 2001. It was a major undertaking then, and it will be five times the undertaking now. I can't force myself to get up the drive to care about doing a pain-in-the-ass site all over again.
I have lost respect for Ben Folds as his new cd has been giving me the business in the CD-rom drive. Apparently it won't play on my computer, which leads me to believe that it's got some kind of encryption on it which won't allow me to rip it to my hard-drive, and thus to my woman's mp3 player, and thus I'll have to listen to it in disc format only. Ben, you vainglorious bastard, why?
Songs I'd Like to Listen to Right Now, But Can't Because I Have No Music on My New Laptop: "Paint It Black" by the Rolling Stones; "Lisa's Not Afraid" by My Big Beautiful; "Hurricane" by Bob Dylan; "Black Out (1, 2, & 3)" by The Good Life; and, "Video Girl 2K5" by Dudes.

Can I now add to the long list of Bands Mjarcie Once Expressed Deep Anger and Violence About/Towards But Now Feels Warm and Fuzzy About the Rolling F'n Stones?
One band that Mjarcie loves that I hate? Queen.
Happy Damn Birthday. Don't you miss this?
It's a Maximum security prison, and the Holiday Inn is by no means inbetween the two. Holiday Inn express is on the edge of the city by Wal-Mart, and the prison and Family Video are much closer to downtown...
