good to see a certain school district finally suspended their hazers. being dazed and confused is great on screen, but it doesn't translate well in real life. course that's just my opinion. which happens to be the right one.

zo, it sounds like you're really drawn to the public schools. that's awesome. i'd say go for it.. although it's a worthwhile investment no matter where you are. i'd be interested to hear where it is you're interviewing, specifically. anyways, i told you this before, but good luck.

and sticking with the education theme, i spent the memorial day weekend entertaining (okay, disciplining) 90 seventh graders in springfield and st. louis. sure it's a great time when you're 12, but in the authoritative role, coed overnight hotel stays = exhausting. not exactly a weekend off, but hey, i did get a free trip around the capital.. as well as a ticket up the arch and into six flags in st. louis. i know how to hit the roller coasters pretty hard, y'all. although someone kept yelling "this is bootylicious!" on all the rides. that was odd.
