go angels.
i beg to differ, somewhat, on the new jets to brazil. my copy hasn't come out of the stero in 2 weeks. personally, i think it is great... perhaps because it lends itself to me, what with the poppier feel and all. love the first couple, three, four.
also in heavy rotation, although i'm not quite sure why:
midtown living well is the best revenge: i hated these guys about 4 years ago. but their newest full length i love. sickening, really, but it's got that pop punk formula and then some. i can't get enough of "like a movie." incredibly catchy, i think even zach might like it. or not.
doug martsch now you know: don't know what this has that i like. folky, accoustic-y... you know the drill. i can't tell if it's good, or only fooling-me-as-good. weird.
ok go s/t: yes they're on mtv. whatever. it makes me bounce in my seat. absolutely love "don't ask me"
nofx the decline: just downloaded this oldy. it's just one long ass song, which is really like a bunch of similar songs strewn together. good riffs, but man is it long. i love it even though it's almost annoyingly long. did i mention it's long?
aimee mann lost in space: marc kinda got me into her. sweet stuff that makes me love you. yes you.
jurassic 5 power in numbers: good beats, good rhymes, yadda yadda yadda. do i deserve to like this?
the hives vini vidi vicious: this one's fading out, but i still like it. "raw," i guess... plus i like the guy's voice. mainstream? i'm okay with that.
good charlotte the young and the hopeless: this one will really get me made fun of. yes i'm still in middle school. literally. it's so damn poppy i can't f'n help it, bitches.
spoon kill the moonlight: interesting that i enjoy this little puppy. seems so simple, yet so well done. gotta say zach, marc, you're right on this one. thanks.
eminem "lose yourself": i hate this guy. i really do. but this song from that upsettingly-interesting-looking-movie 8 mile is one of the best he's put out. i still have that chorus in my head from when i heard it this morning on the way to work. damn it.
avril lavigne let go: okay, i'm joking. or am i?
btw, less than jake is working on a new one. they're not out of the scene yet. hmm. is this good or bad?
that's my music post for the fiscal year. sorry, but when it comes to tunes, i'm a turd. i know.
