Naps Abound
I fell asleep last night from 6 to 8:15pm. Too much, especially considering I have an 8:00am class the next morning and I was almost completely unable to rekindle my sleep vibes later that night. I recall, vaguely, waking up at 7:23pm in the middle of an awesome dream, running to shut off the alarm and jumping immediately back into bed to try and rekindle what I feared I'd already lost. And I was right. It was completely gone. That sucks, doesn't it? I'd rather live in my dreams than my own life, even if only for a few moments. The only thing I've got going for me at nights lately are my Madden 2003 season games, and even then my record is a measely 4-5. My offense is awesome. Edgerring James, Tom Brady, Plaxico Burress, Marty Booker, Olan Kreutz, etc. You can't stop me when I've got the ball. The only problem is that I can't stop anyone else when they've got the ball. My roommate Luke had over 500 total yards against me in our division game last night, not to mention 62 points. That's ridiculous. During the offseason I will be actively searching for cornerbacks, safetys, linebackers, and defensive lineman. I'm so happy football season is here again. Arr!

In the mp3 player: Jets To Brazil's latest Perfecting Loneliness, which is absolutely ace I tells ya'. About three minutes into track 3, "Cat Heaven", they break into a totally piano driven, G n' R/"November Rain"-esque part, and it works. If you enjoy they're slower stuff, you'll be bouncing off the couch when you hear this. If you like they're rockier stuff, you won't be as happy, but they'll placate you enough. Me, I like the slow songs. Keep 'em coming.

And I'm out.
