Marc

My apathy is coming to bite me in the ass ... I swear. I've been working on this presentation due tomorrow, since about 9pm, and I'm completely, utterly out of the energy to even care about it anymore. For one thing, I don't really know what the hell I'm talking about. So, you know, I've got that going for me right? I'm going to stand up, in front of a room of roughly 40 people, and ramble on for ten minutes about something that is wholly Greek to me. Great.

Two, it doesn't really matter how well or poorly I do, I'm going to get an A in the class. This is the education instructor that agreed to give us 25 points of extra credit for every education seminar we attend over the course of the semester. There are four of them, adding up to a total of 100 possible points extra credit. Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this picture? The class itself is only out of 700 points, which means that I could actually skip the presentation and still, theoretically, get an A in the class. How you like them apples?

Shit.

So, that's me for tonight. I've been putting off doing work for two weeks now, and this is what I get. I should've known. Oh well.

I guess I should also tell any interested parties that that crazy old ska band, Reel Big Fish, is playing here in Bloomington, Illinois on Thursday night at the Lafeyette Club off of Route 51. First Grade Crush is opening the show, and ... oops! ... their bass player, Grant, can't make it, so I will be filling in. This could be the last show that I ever play, in my entire life, like ever. Maybe I'll sell all my equipment out of the trunk of my car after the show, in the parking lot. Hmm ... So, basically, I'm trying to get anyone interested to go, and have a good time. I haven't listened to Reel Big Fish since I was in high school really, and am strangely looking forward to seeing how old, fat, and sorry they've gotten. I don't know what it is. I want to see them suck really badly. Either that, or I'd like to see them play all those songs off of Turn the Radio Off, which is not that bad of an album. Whatev. Go to the show. It might be fun.

G'night.
